Privacy Policy
Effective 1 November 2026
Internspace is operated by AFROLABS. This policy describes exactly what the waitlist collects, why, and what we do not collect.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and nothing else that identifies you. We do not ask for your name, university, programme, graduation year or a password, and there is no account to create.
Alongside your address we keep:
- A record of your consent — the date and time you joined and a version identifier for the exact wording shown to you, which was: “By joining, you agree to receive launch updates from Internspace. Unsubscribe anytime.”
- Where you arrived from — for example that you followed a link from Instagram or TikTok, or a campaign tag in the link you clicked. This tells us which channels work. It does not identify you.
- A one-way hash of your IP address — scrambled with a secret key so it cannot be turned back into an address. We use it only to stop automated abuse of the signup form.
We do not store your IP address itself, and we do not record your browser or device details.
Cookies and analytics
The waitlist page sets no cookies and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking.
We measure page views using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or identify visitors, and we keep a daily count of visits and signups grouped by traffic source. These are totals only — no row in them refers to a person.
Why we are allowed to hold this
You gave express consent when you joined, which is the basis for sending you launch updates under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and for holding your address under applicable privacy law. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and we keep the consent record so we can show what you agreed to.
What we do with your email address
One thing: we email you when Internspace launches, plus occasional updates about that launch. We do not sell, rent or share your address with anyone for their own marketing, and we do not send it to advertising networks.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase — Database hosting. Stores the waitlist record: email address, consent record, and traffic attribution.Managed Postgres; region set on the Supabase project.
- Cloudflare — Website hosting, network security, and cookieless Web Analytics. Processes requests in transit.Global edge network.
- Resend — Email delivery. Receives the email address of anyone sent a launch announcement.Used only once launch emails are configured and sent.
These providers process data on our instructions only. Some of them operate outside Canada, which means your address may be stored or processed in another country and be subject to that country’s laws.
How long we keep it
While you are on the waitlist, until you unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe we keep the minimum record needed to honour your choice and to evidence the consent you previously gave, for up to 36 months, and then delete it.
Daily analytics totals contain no personal information and are kept indefinitely.
Your choices
You can, at any time and at no cost:
- Unsubscribe — use the link in any email we send, which takes effect immediately.
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it if it is wrong.
- Ask us to delete it entirely, rather than only unsubscribing.
Email hello@internspace.io from the address you signed up with and we will action it. We aim to respond within 30 days. Privacy requests are handled by the operator of Internspace, at hello@internspace.io.
Keeping it safe
Your address is held in an access-controlled database. Only the founder can read the waitlist, over an authenticated session that requires a second factor, and privileged actions such as exporting the list are recorded in an audit log. Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit.
No system is perfectly secure, but the data we hold is deliberately minimal so that there is little to lose.
Children
Internspace is intended for university students and recent graduates. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above, and where the change affects how we use your address we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
